There Are No Easy Answers to Hair Loss

September 1st, 2010

Hair loss.  This is often a problem of the old ones, isn’t it?  Their hair strands become brittle and many men become bald.  Have you noticed that?  Well, this kind of thinking is actually a misconception. You know why? Hair loss may also be due to other factors like stress, hormonal imbalance, or even malnutrition.  Yes, you got that right.  Even at a young age, you can lose a lot of hair.

Thinning of hair, especially for women, is definitely a big deal.  We think of our hair as our crowning glory.  It is one element in helping us to look pretty, or stylish, which is why we spend a lot more time and money on our hair than men.  Isn’t it true that most men are content with just having a plain haircut, unless they are especially vain? On the other hand, women often think about hairstyles that will perfectly suit the shape of their faces.  It is a lot more complicated for us, you know!  So, just imagine how it feels to start to lose your hair.  It can affect our confidence as it has an impact on our appearance and self-image.

Take me for example. When I was a child, I had always been admired because of my long, beautiful, black hair.  However, when I was in high school, I remember hating it because it was so thick that it was hard having it in a pony tail.  I entered the nursing course when I got into college so we were required to put our hair into a bun each time we went on duty or even into class. It was the start of my hair fall. And now, I am only 20 years old.  A part of my scalp is already very visible and each time I brush my hair, there are a lot of strands that come out at the same time.  My boyfriend often teases me about this.  But, that is okay.  On the positive side, it makes me realize that even if there are a lot of pretty girls with beautiful hair, he still chooses to be by my side. Am I right? Moving on, I am really bothered by how awful it looks so I try different products that could help regrow my hair.  Now, I only wish that I did not hate what I had back then, previously when I thought I had too much hair.  How about you? Are you also having a hair problem like this? Let me share the following information with you.  I hope  it helps!
